The much-anticipated day has arrived when the court decide the rightful winner of 2019 general election. After months of allegation and counter allegation by the two top political parties in Nigeria, APC and PDP, the court will its final verdict in few hours from now. The Chief of Staff (COS) to President Muhammad Buhari, Abba Kyari, is the latest of dignitaries to arrive at the venue of the much-expected judgment in the petition by Atiku Abubakar and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Dressed in white agbada and a red cap, Kyari strolled into the packed court room at the Abuja division of the Court of Appeal, around 8. 15 am, accompanied by some other government officials.

Those who arrived before him are Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Festus Keyamo, Director General, Voice of Nigeria (VON), Osita Okechukwu

PDP and Atiku are challenging the outcome of the last presidential election, won by Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

While many believe the decision today will strengthen the peoples confident in our legal system and democracy at large but aggrieved member of the opposition party already concede defeat without wait for the outcome of today’s judgment

“The entire legal process is already bought and compromised. Save yourself the emotional trauma of having your expectations dashed. Yes, Atiku has a watertight case, but justice is a meaningless concept in Buhari’s Nigeria.

Why this are some people opinion, many still believe who ever comes out victorious is the rightful winner of the last Presidential election.
