He was the only son of a struggling widow, who did all she could to make him a better person in life but the young champ life was cut short by two suspected men who now are in the net of the police. robbed and killed 24 hours after graduating as a Medical Student! Dr. Stephen Urueye.

Dr Stephen Urueye graduated on Wednesday, as a medical Doctor at Unilag, he was stabbed on Thursday but he eventually died on Friday.

There have been more revelations about the personal details of the medical doctor that was killed at Idi-Araba, Lagos, on Thursday.

Hours after his induction ceremony. The late champ, Dr Stephen Erueye, who studied Medicine in the University of Lagos, had also gotten bank alert for his Housemanship with the LUTH a few minutes before being stabbed to death.

He was robbed and stabbed close to LUTH. He struggled to the LUTH gate before collapsing. They tried to save him but he eventually died. He just did his convocation on Wednesday this week, just received his salary and today (Friday) he is gone. His mother is a widow and worked hard to send him to school, and he is the only son.

Meanwhile, the Lagos Police Command said it has arrested two persons suspected to have killed Dr. Stephen … the suspects; Gbadebo Jimoh and Malik Adeboye, were arrested on Friday by police operatives from the Itire division.

Both have been transferred to the state criminal investigation department at the Yaba area of Lagos for further investigation.

In the aftermath of Urueye’s death, a protest was held at LUTH on Friday, calling for justice for the late doctor as well as improved security in the area
