The Wedding Party 2 has been once being nominated by the National Film Awards UK, in the ‘Best International Film’ category. Since the premiere of the movie in Dubai sometimes late last year, the movie has continued to break all records in Africa, received recognition by international act.
This prestigious nomination is another indication of the international appeal of the film and how well it has been received by audiences across the globe. Of note are its successful cinema runs in Nigeria, the UK, East Africa, South Africa and Liberia.
The National Film Awards UK is an annual event organised by the National Film Academy to laud the accomplishments of established and independent filmmakers, actors, actresses, casting directors, production companies and crew who make up the motion picture industry. Winners of the award are decided by the public and fans are encouraged to vote by registering atwww.nationalfilmawards.org/voting. The awards ceremony takes place on 28th March.
