Shortly after the match, Tyson Fury’s Dad said after watching his son dominate against Tom Schwarz, It obvious Gypsy King was proving that he has all eyes on Deontay Wilder.

He said: “Tyson needed to make a statement tonight. I thought Tom would go five or six rounds, but looking at the mood Tyson was in, switching southpaw, he looked the business. “That was spiteful, venomous Tyson tonight. When he walks to that ring, he becomes someone else.

“All that he has in the back of his head, is Deontay Wilder. “He wants that revenge. He showed strength, power, determination and that killer instinct. “The bottom line is, that’s the fight everyone wants.”

Fury’s win over Tom Schwarz was always expected to be a formality, as will his final fight of 2019.

The main prize is a rematch against WBC champion Deontay Wilder, with a return to Las Vegas set for the Brit. But just how massive could it be? Top Rank boss and promoter Bob Arum believes it will be bigger than Floyd Mayweather’s clash against Manny Pacquiao.
