One of the houses of Yoruba rights activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a Sunday Igboho in Soka, Ibadan, capital of Oyo State, has been razed by suspected arsonists, reacting to his quest to force Fulani herders from all southwest State.
The incident was said to have occurred in the early hours of today, Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
Details were not immediately available.
Although he has been in the limelight for a while but the recent quit notice issue to Fulani herdsmen in the Ibarapa area of the state, given them seven days ultimatum makes him become more popular in past few weeks.
He has vowed to take the campaign, which has stoked tension across the country, to other parts of Yoruba land.
