President Buhari Returns Back, After 8days Abroad

Buhari was said to have touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 7pm on Monday.
President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after eight days abroad. The Presidential jet touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday night The President was received at the airport by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Bello, the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, among other dignitaries.
Buhari had left the country on Sunday, September 17 to attend the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Before commencing the trip, the Presidency had hinted that President Buhari would travel through London on his way back from New York.
Although the reason for the stopover was not disclosed, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, had said that the trip would not exceed Monday.
