After the Melee on Tuesday at Ikeja during the APC rally where fight ensue between APC foot soldiers, most especially men of the NURTW. The fiasco led to the death of one of their union members, why others three including MC Oluomo, were rush to the hospital. On Thursday, news of his alleged death began to spread.
However, reacting to the development, Aduke took to her Instagram page to dispel the death rumours trailing her father.
In a post shared via her Instastory, she wrote: “Y’all should stop coming to my DM to with stupid text message. Oluomo is not dead biko.
“And for you idiot saying how can knife penetrate in his body that he doesn’t have charm, go ask Google for that don’t come to my DM for meaningless questions. Oluomo is not dead. My daddy is strong and healthy.”
Commenting on what actually led to the fight, Lagos State Commissioner of police Imohimi Edgal said, “The preliminary investigation we carried out reveals that it is just their internal union crisis. I heard that their state chairman would leave soon and there are some players who wanted to succeed him.
“But the inauguration of a governorship candidate campaign was not a good venue for them to begin their fight. We will not tolerate it”
Edgal stated that one person died during the incident while three injured persons were admitted to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, where they were treated and discharged.
Giving an update about, Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), Imohimi said he was still at the Eko hospital.
The Police boss said the transport union leader was recuperating.
