There seem to be a lot special about Jose Mourinho. Among many other things, he is one of the few coaches who usually smile to the bank with big cheque after been sack from his club. Manchester united board has confirmed the sack of the team coach, Jose Mourinho following their disappointing start to the season., and you know that means……another big cheque. Manchester united will have to cough out staggering £24m after pulling the trigger.
The Red Devils struggles this season can only afford them sixth position in the Premier League table but have already lost five times in 17 matches, leaving them 19 points behind leaders Liverpool and 11 off fourth-placed Chelsea in the fight for Champions League places.
Micheal Carrick to now step in as interim manager for the next 48 hours pending the announcement of a new manager.
A statement from the club said: “Manchester United announces that manager Jose Mourinho has left the club with immediate effect. The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.
“A new caretaker manager will be appointed until the end of the current season, while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager.
Mourinho’s relationship with key members of his playing squad appeared to have disintegrated this season, with a public training-ground face-off with Paul Pogba and club captain Antonio Valencia being forced to apologise for ‘liking’ an Instagram post calling for Mourinho to be sacked.
