In what appears a case of culpable homicide, the remains of Captain Abdulkarim Ibn Na’Allah, son of Senator Bala Na Allah, were found in a bedroom of his residence at Malali, in Kaduna North Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Sunday.
The deceased was reportedly found in the bedroom, apparently after having been strangled with a rope. Kaduna State government, in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said it was informed by security agencies that the remains of one Captain Abdulkarim Ibn Na’Allah were found in his Kaduna home.
It was gathered that the 36-year-old pilot who married recently was strangled while the assailants escaped with his vehicle and personal belongings.
According to his aide, Garba Mohammed, the assailants had gained entrance to the compound through the back and entered the house through the ceiling.
A security guard who noticed that the gate of the deceased’s home was opened raised the alarm which led to the discovery of the remains in the bedroom.
Mohammed said the deceased had been buried at Unguwan Sarki cemetery according to Islamic injunction. In another incident, bandits killed one Ahmadu Tanko at Janwuriya, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Governor Nasir el-Rufai expressed sadness at the reports and prayed for the repose of the souls of the victims.
