Davido & Wizkid Finally Ends beef, Perform Live at Concert 

The Tom and Jerry of Nigerian pop culture, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido and his star rival Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a Wizkid seem to have finally settled their long-time squabble, one that seem not to end anytime soon but came as a surprise to fans yesterday at the star studded concert held at the Eko hotel Convention Centre.
It has been 6 longs years since Wizkid last staged a show in Lagos, and this time he decided to do one for the fans and it was a memorable experience for everyone. Although it started late, the show began with Wizkid himself been the chief host, combining speaking and singing:
Few hours into the event, the very unexpected happened, Davido joined Wizkid on stage ending almost a year of purported beef and concealed arrow messages via social media. Davido performed his recent hit single FIA with Wizkid on stage. The concert was light up with amazing performance by stars; 2face, Tiwasage,Olamide,Mayorku,Phyno,Mr Eazi, Skepta, Tekno, L.A.X
The year 2017 has been marked with great accomplishment for the star-duo. Wizkid a.k.a Starboy, won the Best International Act, while Davido won the Best African Act at the 22nd edition of MOBO Award at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, United Kingdom.
The ‘Star boy’ defeated American rappers Jay-Z, Drake, SZA, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar and other famous international artistes to clinch the highly coveted trophy.
Davido edged out Wizkid, Mr. Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Maleek Berry and others to pitch the “Best African Act” award.
