A mix of bad and good news filtered in last night through the NCDC twitter update on the Novel coronavirus in Nigeria. Why there were new cases of the virus identified in other states, Lagos was exempted as there was no record of new cases.
Just now, the Lagos Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, announced a fresh death of 45-year-old Nigeria man who returned from India in January but later developed the symptoms of COVID-19.

“No new case of #COVID19 was confirmed in Lagos on 20th April 2020 but another death has been recorded
So far, Lagos state has 379 confirmed cases, 98 has been discharged, 260 active cases and 16 deaths.
